I have a chapbook of poetry coming out, titled Shelf Life, published by Grey Borders. The launch takes place
Sunday, April 30
at Mahtay Café, 241 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines (Map here)
Besides my book launch, we’ll have a poetry reading with four poets, including Bieke Stengos, whom you know well. (We met at your class, and have stayed in touch). Plus, we’ll have a singer-songwriter to round out the afternoon.
All my best!
The third book of the Algonquin Quest Series, Algonquin Sunset, will be released June 17. In this book, the reader will find out what happened to Mahingan and his followers and where they are going on their new adventures. Two new Native tribes, the Anishinaabe and their enemy the powerful Lakota. will be introduced, along with new characters, an Anishinaabe cultural legend plus a Lakota legendary cultural figure. Still set in the 1300s on Turtle Island, life is not getting any easier for the people inhabiting these lands.
You can pre-order Algonquin Sunset at any book store in North America or Europe.
Also, Kobo now has my books in a three book bundle. I do like the cover for this ad!
CBC has chosen Algonquin Quest for its Spring Review as one of the new exciting books to read in the first half of 2017 (see here).
Again Dundurn Press did a great job on this cover with the crow.
