Shamrock, the Irish haiku quarterly seeks submissions from around the world

Shamrock is an international quarterly online journal that publishes quality haiku, senryu and haibun in English. Shamrock will also consider haiku-related essays for their thematic issues. On rare occasions, very short (less than ten) single-author haiku or senryu sequences will be considered.

Shamrock does not publish tanka, renga/renku or any other linked forms and does not review unsolicited haiku collections or chapbook manuscripts, so please inquire before sending us review copies.

Please send haiku/senryu submissions to: irishhaikusociety@gmail.com
with 'Shamrock Submission' and your name in the subject line.

Please include your submission in the body of the email; we do not open attachments. Please type your poems one under another, with a noticeable interval between them. On all submissions, please include a short biographical note. Full submission guidelines here. Current issue here.

See Brian Henry's schedule here, including writing workshops and creative writing courses in Kingston, Peterborough, Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Georgetown, Oakville, Burlington, St. Catharines, Hamilton, Dundas, Kitchener, Guelph, London, Woodstock, Orangeville, Newmarket, Barrie, Gravenhurst, Sudbury, Muskoka, Peel, Halton, the GTA, Ontario and beyond.
