Contests: House of Gryhm seeks short horror; Mona Schreiber Prize for humour accepting entries


The House Of Gryhm, a new imprint of Grey Border Books of Niagara Falls, Canada, is accepting entries for their horror chapbook contest. Prize: $50 and 25 copies. Length: 2000 words max. Entry fee: $5. No deadline provided.

Entries are invited for the Mona Schreiber Prize for Humorous Fiction and Nonfiction (US). First prize: $500 US. Length: 750 words. Submit humour writing in any form: essays, articles, short stories, poetry, shopping lists, etc. Fee: $5 US per entry. Deadline: December 1, 2012.
